Get your team together, get down to Music City, USA and see why the Nash Bash Rugby Festival is the "IT" Spring Rugby Tournament.
For 40 years now (give or take a pandemic or flood!), rugby clubs from all across North America have traveled to Nashville for this extraordinary event. Held in March each year, the Bash continues to provide youth (started in '04), college, men's and women's teams with a high quality, entertaining weekend of rugby to kick off the Spring season. Last year more than 100 teams enjoyed good running rugby, festive music and the great camaraderie that has
come to define the Nash Bash.

Want to Referee at Nash Bash?
With such a large event, we love referee exchanges! Please contact your society chair to request attendance to the event of your choice (Big Bash or U19), who will then reach out to the MidSouth Referee Society Chair to make the request through proper inter-society channels.
We offer lodging, game-day meals/drinks, Saturday ref team dinner and AGM attendance (Big Bash only),
plus game fees/travel stipend and a dryfit referee jersey.
Event Details
Nash Bash provides an excellent opportunity for clubs in cooler climates to get in some warm-up games before the start of the season, and teams from warmer parts the chance to size up possible playoff competition.

FESTIVAL ATMOSPHERE
There will be rugby equipment and apparel on sale as well. Also, we'll have live music and an outstanding social as well as photographers and videographers on-site to capture all the great rugby moments. Make plans to attend the Bash and find out why this is North America's Premier Rugby Festival.
MEN'S AND WOMEN'S TOURNAMENT (15s)

DIVISIONS: The women's and men's tournaments are broken into divisions based on competition level (social, competitive/elite). Depending on the number of teams in each bracket, divisions will either be set up as round robins or straight knock-out events, with losers moving to consolation rounds. We do our best to place teams in pods with different geographical regions.

GAMES: Each registered team is guaranteed two games on Saturday (unless split with another team and conveyed to tournament organizers), and at least one game on Sunday. Some divisions may require a semi-final match Sunday morning before a final, ensuring a fourth game for teams in the Championship match.

SUBS: Every division allows for rolling subs, as this is a social event not leading to any national playoffs/standings. Last games on Sunday end by 2pm, allowing teams time to travel home Sunday afternoon/evening.​
U19 NASH BASH (15s)
The U19 Nash Bash provides the chance for High School rugby teams to dust off the cobwebs and prepare for the upcoming Spring season with three games in a friendly format. We separate the U-19 Bash into three brackets: Middle School; U-19 Girls Division; and U-19 Boys Division (A & B teams).
